Rehydration Therapy
Drinking water plays an important role in heaven. Juan used water to cleanse the insides of those who needed to be revived.
“Water. Try …” Juan added a clap, clap… clap, clap. “Water, more… Good”
(Chapter 3 and Chapter 91)
Dr. Meutal also spoke about the importance of hydration.
They continued their walk from the infirmary to his clinic, “And then there is water… H2O is underestimated as well! Two-thirds of our body is water… not coffee, soda, tea, juice, milk. Would you shower or bathe in these? Better yet, how do you feel when you are not clean outside?” The best drink made ever was simple water, nothing else.”
“Obviously, most health problems are started by dehydration. Water cleans the inside of your body as well as the outside.”
Eye to eye, “I want you to make a commitment, an oath, a promise to yourself. Take deep enjoying breaths. Drink plenty of pure water. And be happy with what you have and what you see.”
“I will make three promises to you… Days one through three, you will need to pee… like a racehorse! Days four to seven, you are reaching heaven as you detox. Your body is changing now. Then you will feel better and beyond… in more ways than one!”
Dr. Meutal slowed his pace and started to sound even less like a psychologist… “Your core body temperature is 37 degrees (Celsius, 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit)… your external skin temperature is less, like 31 or 32 (degrees Celsius, 89 degrees Fahrenheit)… However, when you get a cut or a bruise, that area will heat up… Your body needs skin like a hot engine needs a radiator… And both need water.”
(Chapter 66)
With every breath you take, you are losing water. When you move, your body sweats and gives off water. You pee to remove your body’s waste, again more water.
Dehydration is when the body gives off more water than it takes in. Rehydration is when we add water to our body.
Water is used for our body to function, all the way down to the chemical and cellular levels. There can be both immediate and long-term results if we are not constantly rehydrating ourselves and cleansing our insides.
Generally, when we drink too much water we first may feel our belly bloating, but it is quickly removed through urination, pissing. Simple. However, when we do not get enough liquids, our body becomes dehydrated and that leads to problems.
Mild dehydration (immediate) starts in our head. We feel a sticky or dryness in our mouth. Our lips feel parched. It takes a little bit longer for us to feel tired, our mood changes, and we lose concentration. We mistakenly feel hungry, but that is just in our heads. Actually, we are thirsty for more water (not hungry).
Dehydration lowers blood flow and oxygen to our body, increasing our heartbeat. Our muscles cramp and feel pain when we move. Our breath may become wheezy and make a squeaky sound when we inhale and exhale. Dehydrated dry skin lacks elasticity and does not “bounce back” when pinched into a fold. We are tired and feel headaches, confusion, or get lightheaded. More severe, long term dehydration leads to bigger problems such as delirium or unconsciousness and ultimately organ failure.
Look at your piss. Is it clear or colored?
To stay healthy, not only drink water when you are thirsty, but also go a bit above this. It is recommended that we drink half our body weight in ounces of water:
Body weight ______ , divided by 2, equals ____ ounces of water.
As a general rule of thumb, drink about eight 8-ounce (237-mL) glasses of water per day (the 8×8 rule). However this varies from person to person based on your age, your activity level, existing health conditions, and the temperature outside.
Drinking water is not the only way to stay adequately hydrated. Juicy fruits and vegetables are a great way to feel better. Broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, watermelon, and grapes are all high in natural water.
Benefits?
Feel better and beyond… in more ways than one!
Rest, exercise, meditate about a happy place, eat right and drink more water!
